Well, this was just an ordinary day for me and was a bit busy. My hands are full these days because of the fact that I have moved to be independent and be my little family's breadwinner. My little family is just me and my daughter since I am a single mom. We have a new lifestyle since then, it started last December. At first, I thought it was going to be difficult but looks like the dust has settled and now we are noticing that this was even better than what we used to have. Such irony. We are actually saving more. We are happier. We are more peaceful. We are more focused. Blessings after blessings came and everything I prayed for also happened. It is as if God has really wanted us to be in this path all along.

I am so grateful of all the things behind us, all that worked and did not work, it all lead to this journey and finally I can say that this is where I want to be. This is giving me more confidence to dream more because I can see that things eventually really unfold and fall into place for aslong as you dream it and work on it.

Even the hiccups of our lives, they were meant to happen just like me getting Covid last month. Me and my daughter got quarantined for 2 weeks and we'll, the family that treated us poorly before then of course treated us even worse, which pushed us to build our own house now. That was unfortunate to happen because these people are what you'd think as people who would be there for you and watch your back but they disappoint. Well, it's an eye opener that things like that happen in relationships and all you have to do is move past the toxicity and channel your love and attention to where it'd be appreciated.

Today, my daughter surprised me with a cake with, "NEGATIVE!" on it. We already celebrated the negative swab test result with ice cream yesterday but I guess she is up to celebrate it more since it is such a blessing for the both of us. That means we are safe for another month. My swab test is monthly and mandatory. If I go positive, we will both go through the same ordeal that we went through last month, 2 months of quarantine. My daughter surprised me with this cake saying of course, she would be willing to go through it all again but it is so much better this way that we won't. I think that is so sweet and such story is what I want log her in my blog so that one day when I flip these pages, I will remember how we were strong together as a mother and daughter going through tough times but we were stronger than ever because we have each other.
