I actually did something crazy and I'm still nursing my heart and bank account for it, maybe I'll just go look for a part-time job to cover for it but welcome to my country where part-time jobs almost don't exist 😏
So here is the thing that happened and I'm sure you'll understand me, that is why I'm telling you here 🥺 pleas try to understand me, don't misunderstand anything so read carefully and console me in my plight.
It's been almost three months since I resumed back to school after a long strike, I bought so many goodies for my room with the money dad gave me, I also made sure to keep some change for any future transport fares and unplanned expenses.
All that was three months ago, so you can already tell without being told that the money is finished and almost all the goodies I bought are finished... That leaves me to being the real student of Nigeria, hustle to eat from henceforth.
Well, I was lucky enough to bend my neck small for dad and he sent me some money few days ago so I got a little richer. You know that feeling of "Lemme eat something good for my body" when you have money but you never think of such when there is no money... It happened to me.
I got up from bed feeling hungry, too early unlike the days I had no money on me. I was so hungry but didn't want to eat the food I had at home, I was craving for something else which I wasn't sure what it was.
Well, I decided to prepare small delicious rice so I went to buy some fresh pepper since I had none.
Long story cut short, I didn't buy fresh pepper and I bought these!!!
Yes, this is the crazy thing I did. I bought plantains that are worth less than a dollar normally for more than $2 (I have just a tiny change remaining from the money dad sent). Things have gone on the increase in this country and after buying to the house, I remembered when 
The case is that bad, everything is expensive and plantains aren't excluded. I'm still wondering who controlled my hands to pick these plantains and paid for it, took it home to eat.
Well, this is the crazy thing I almost did...
I almost fried two eggs to consume the plantains 😳 you can imagine the Craziness!!!
People are still asking if it was slay hens (High class hens) that lays the eggs they sell nowadays and I almost fried two to eat that expensive plantain.
Yes, I can imagine the enjoyment but why would I spend almost $5 from $10 dad send just for one breakfast? Tell me it isn't crazy, let's fight! 😑
No need to ask what I used to eat the plantains, I still had my fill regardless with just spending $2 so it was good enough. I'm very sure of myself that I wouldn't try such a play again, buying plantains from money I'm managing.
So in case you see me negotiating price of plantain anywhere, call my name please. Because I'm suspecting that these sellers are jinxing person to buy their expensive plantain 😏
