I'm glad that you didn't let your little pride stop you from helping him, then it wouldn't have made sense that you call him proud.

People are just like that, they become too proud that they want every other person to lick their shoes. Having so many things doesn't mean you have everything.

There must be something you will need from another so why being pompous about the ones you have and not even sure if they will last 🤷‍♀️
