To be honest, until now I've always thought there wasn't a name for those who don't earn passively. I just see them as people who rely totally on deadlines and rules to get their complete static salary paid. I don't know about others but I've seen my dad and how he anticipates his monthly salary from the company and for countless times, he has borrowed money while waiting to be paid.
While there are advantages to active earning which I'm yet to see or agree to, there are way more better advantages to earning passively and the fact that it is more relaxing and almost effortless to earn passively makes it better for me.

Maybe I'm all talks about passive earning because I've only experienced active earning once and it didn't go too well for me but ever since I started to earn passively, it just gets better by each day.
My first encounter with passive earning was when I joined a team to buy and hodl Ethereum in my trust wallet. I didn't get much of the coin to hodl but I was so happy to watch my tiny investment grow little by little. At a time I needed money, I sold it off and it gave a good enough amount. Thinking back to that time, I didn't do anything to get that money aside sending some cash to a wallet and watching the coin grow.
Hive is my second and the most amazing platform I've joined to earn passively daily unlike the Ethereum investment where I waited for months. Hive Token is one way to earn on Hive but since I can't buy them but just make posts and earn them, I decided to focus on my Hive engine tokens for my passive earning journey.
Bro, Leo, LOH, Pob and many other tokens are the ones I earn from just holding them and delegating some. The payouts are not much but they are way better than nothing and for someone who doesn't do any work offline, it's a lot.
Passive earnings may come in bits but saves lives...
Active earnings save lives too, I know but I also know how much work has to be put in to get good enough amounts unlike passive income where you don't have to stress to get money that could save lives or change lives without a blink of an eye. There are many ways to earn passively but I only know of Hive.
For Hive, it is buying and hodling tokens, saving HBD for interest and delegating your tokens and Hive to accounts that will pay you daily, for me.
Passive earning may require money to start...
Unlike active earning where one just have to start working and get paid at the end of the month, passive earning in most cases require that you put in money to gain more money. Well, I didn't do that to earn passively on Hive because I earned Hive tokens and used it to grow other tokens and it's been giving me better earning daily.
With time, I'll be earning most of my money passively, it's my plan but I would gladly start an active earning journey soon if I get the chance to grow my passive income.
