I got up late this morning feeling like I wouldn't be able to do all I have planned out to get done for the day. Well, at this moment I'm writing, I'm done with everything that's needed to be done aside hitting the publish button which I would have done since you're reading this post.
One thing I've come to know about myself is motivating myself especially when I'm alone and no one to complain to about my being lazy, it's not like it's cool to announce how lazy you are anyways. So my only motivation is music and I activated my music play box to get some songs playing while I work.
It was so much fun getting my work done as the music played. I did a lot but it didn't feel like I had been working too much, I still feel like I did nothing especially after eating a nice meal.
One of the songs I found myself repeating because of the so much vibe it gave me while working is a song from Kelly Clarkson and I decided to share her tunes today (three of my favourite songs from her).
Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)
Just the start of the song and you could feel yourself dancing already (Maybe it's just me haha). I've listened to this song countless times in my phone but never get tired of the vibes it gives to me. I danced a lot after working because of this song I had on repeat (I'm not a good dancer though, just for the fun).
I wouldn't want to focus on the lyrics of the song but obviously the title says a lot already, it is a good motivational songs even though it is from the aspect of experiencing a heart break. Well, you decide how you want to listen to the song.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!!! I've learnt that over and over. But recently I've been reading some comedy about this sentence and I saw that cracked me up real good, it says "What doesn't kill you, you were lucky! Do not try it again!" 😂 funny but there is a sense to it.
Since You Been Gone
Another vibe song from her, isn't it? The beat, the voice, the lyrics... Everything was just making my stiff body to dance 😅 it's my first time seeing the video and I must say the vibe is real in it also, and not just the song when you hear it. The first time I heard the song was in a medley and it got my attention with the way it was sang.
I never knew it would sound even more livelier by the original artist, you should try playing this song when you're working, you'll love the energy it gives. Although the lyrics may not be everyone's favourite but who doesn't love to vibe? 😁
The songs are a bit old as it was posted on you tube 11 years ago, but of course, music never grow old.
A Moment Like This
I didn't put this song on a repeat but it is a song worth sharing among all her other songs. Not the big vibes songs but so emotional and beautiful to listen to. I actually felt solemn while seeing the video as she sings so beautifully.
Well, there is an obvious story behind this song. About her beginning and how she made waves when she decided to join in the American Idol show, won and started her own Album. She decided to dedicate a song to that moment where she won.
Indeed, there are moments we are found in that so many wait longer (sometimes for a lifetime) to be found in such moments, the song do have a reality meaning and I love it so much. I hope you also enjoy listening to this beautiful artist doing her thing.
