This is going to be one of those few write ups I do after a deep thought on past memories and having a smile on after those thoughts, a write up that reflects more on how grateful I am than the difficulties faced and the opportunities missed, a Heartfelt but really beautiful story about how I've come this far to be the Hive blogger that I am today.
I'm choosing to tell it in a story form and I hope you do read on and find yourself in between my story and how much you've helped me no matter how little it must have been through my journey here in this great community.

Last year around this time (I think it was May though), I thought I was doing well enough with the communities I had explored even though I wasn't getting good enough support in them but I couldn't stop noticing a few of the persons on my follow feed who kept active at a particular community and they had the "Member tag" on their names too and I saw that they do get good engagement on their posts... I got curious.
My curiosity led me to begin a journey I wish not to get to a destination
I visited the community, saw myself accepting an invite link to their small world in discord and I was asked to reintroduce myself in a way I thought was a little weird but after procrastination, I did it and it was so fun and fulfilling for me. Actually too fun that I got my two friends to join in alongside with me that same day. Luckily we got verified and for the very first time in my Hive journey, I got the beautiful "Member tag" and that was how it all began.
An active member was born into the community
I was active as a Hive member before I joined the community but believe me when I say it tripled after I joined the community especially when the featured topic editions started and I got a chance to share my thoughts up to three times in the community every week with the topics provided. It doubled my proactive sense to provide contents daily and it increased my level of engagement as I couldn't resist from getting close to those I saw at the community before I joined.
And I made friends that turned family for me

Aside the fact that my engagement doubled on the blockchain thanks to this community, I find the friends I made through the community as my highlight of this journey. I knew most of them in the comment section of my post and theirs, some I got more closer to during the discord hangouts, and some I even got to bond with personally through phone calls and video calls. Believe me, they are way more valuable than I had thought into it before now. These friends didn't fail to encourage and correct me when needed, they would cheer, cry and laugh at me at the appropriate time... I won't hesitate to call them the perfect kind of friends I need to keep going on this blockchain.

The story is yet to have an end and that is because it's only a year into this great community but I could see a brighter future of this community with my friends and I becoming even more fonder of each other, enjoying the family bond that the community provides. There's more to this story and I can only say, watch me and my friends at Hive learners as we keep writing more lines to the story already began.
