I always go with this mindset any time i attend functions like weddings , burial,birthday party etc. I eat very well at home before going out. I rarely get disappointed of not being served at functions. We should develop the attitude of getting prepared in any circumstance we may find our self...lets keep working and striving hard...we shouldn't wait for people to get things done for us, coz along the line you may be disappointed.
