Wishing you a week full of miracles, may your faith remain strong and not waver; may it remain firm, just like what it represents.
A Moment of Relaxation
An outing like every day to run errands, sometimes we don't stop, always thinking that there isn't enough time, that it goes by too fast and we won't have time to complete our daily tasks. That's how it was today. After arriving at the place I was going, I waited a moment to be served. Sitting there, I thought, "What's the rush?"
And so it was. After asking myself this question, I walked back calmly, observing my surroundings and looking at people's faces, each one lost in their own thoughts.
I decided to walk down to the other places I was going, slowly. Every time I pass by Mil Hojas bakery/pastry shop, I'm in a hurry and never stop; Although I've always loved the atmosphere, the aromas of fresh bread, newly baked pastries on display, and the tidy space, the coffee there is excellent, especially when I'm alone with my thoughts and simply enjoying it.
Mil Hojas is a bakery/pastry shop located in El Tigre, Anzoátegui, Venezuela. It has a long tradition and always maintains the quality of its products. It used to be a favorite spot for many. It was closed for a few years, and when it reopened, I was very pleased. They had moved, yes, to a new location on Avenida Francisco de Miranda, a few blocks before its original spot.
It was so popular that it was never empty. Everything changed, and even the bakery or its owners reinvented themselves to once again delight palates. That moment I spent there, alone, was very pleasant—a moment of tranquility, savoring that warm, creamy brown pastry. It was so delicious; a stop I deserved.
