It already sort of happened once...

I bought a painting on line from a guy in Spain who didn't have any idea what it was, and because I had studied Russian, I could tell it was by a famous Russian artist. Paid $80, and was able to list it in London for 25,000 British. I had to let it go for "just 2500" British though, because it passed at auction, and I didn't want to pay to have it shipped back to the States. Still...that was a 5000% return...
