The so-called "child protective" "services" (CPS) has been intimately associated with the recent rash of medical kidnappings across North America. But even as horrendous as those have been, so far at least, the incidents here have not yet risen to the level of what is going on in the epicenter of child-parent-state relational redefinition...Great Britain.

"Tragically, there are cases where a child’s prognosis is without hope, and there are parents in those cases unable to let go. There is a process by which a doctor or state actor can petition a court to override that parent’s grief-laden, denial-driven decision. But the weight in those cases is on the hospital or state actor to prove the parent is being unreasonable. The law begins with the presumption that parents are acting in their child’s best interest.
In Britain, that presumption has been turned upside down, and the law assumes the hospital is right. This forces stressed, grieving parents to do the heavy lifting of proving the doctor is wrong. As a result, the children are losing. And it’s no game; it’s literally a matter of life and death."

Importantly, let me interject that the real question should not be about who IS right, but about who HAS the right. Throughout history that struggle has ebbed and flowed, with totalitarian societies like Sparta, the height of Aztec culture, and a few other ancient examples, and the 20th-century variants such as Hitler's Germany, Stalin's Russia, and Mao's China coming closest to emulating modern CPS, v.v. families.
But only ancient Sparta rivals the current assumptions of child ownership now being approached by the British government and their version of CPS. They are close to murdering their third child there in the name of state-run "medicine." The future path is fraught with disturbing harbingers regarding the tight-knit relationship between the "professional medical community" and " child protective services."
With the modern trend toward a totalitarian WORLD government becoming ever-more obvious, the daunting prospect of a future world where there is truly "no place to run, and no where to hide" becomes more and more ever-present. These two elements of modern totalitarian/technocratic-leaning modern police/surveillance states--"medicine" and "social work"-- should trouble every person in the western world who values personal liberty and freedom.
