Does not the absence of the immortality of the soul necessitate nihilism, making your first commandmant rather illogical? If the end result of humanity's actions have the same outcome (that being, the heat death of the universe or the big crunch, leading to nobody being around to even rememver us), what does it matter whether we live virtuous or vile lives?
