Hello everyone, I hope you’re doing great.
This was one of those photo sessions that wasn’t planned at all. I had gone to a café for a casual gathering with friends, simply looking to take a break from work and enjoy the evening. Amid the atmosphere, the lights, and the conversations around me, I noticed a woman whose style and presence perfectly matched the mood of the location. After a brief conversation, an unexpected photoshoot naturally came together.
For these images, I relied mostly on the available ambient light, keeping the scene as natural as possible. The warm background lights combined with the deep red flowers created a beautiful color contrast that added depth and mood to the photographs.
In most of the shots, I used a shallow depth of field to separate the subject from the environment, allowing the soft bokeh and night lights to create a cinematic feel.
When it came to posing, I focused on simple and natural gestures rather than anything overly directed. Looking away from the camera, relaxed seated positions, subtle hand placements, and a few close-up portraits helped tell the story while preserving an authentic atmosphere. The model felt very comfortable in front of the camera, which made it easy to capture genuine expressions and emotions without much guidance.
Sometimes, the best photographs are not created during carefully planned projects, but in the most unexpected moments of an ordinary night.
