Nobody doubts the jumping spider's dexterity in ambushing its prey. With a very fast jumping power of a fraction of a second, they are able to ambush their prey and immobilize it with their sharp and deadly jaws.
You may often see a jumping spider that preys on insects such as flies, leaf-footed bugs, leafhoppers, or the like, even though the prey is bigger than it.
Here is the jumping spider of Cosmophasis lami species which makes a flying ant no longer able to move after it bites. Big prey that would make for a delicious meal, of course.
