Our pool was acid washed a couple days ago, and the guy that did it thought it would be nice to put our hose in the pool and start filling it back up. Well, that would have been a nice thing to do if we weren’t on well water.
The hose he he used was actually an unfiltered hose, meaning it does not travel through our iron filters and water softener. You can see the merky well water, and red iron stain at the bottom of the pool where the water was leaving the hose.
He will drain and re wash this small part of the bottom...but a lesson was hopefully learned here...don’t take a random hose and fill a customer’s pool without asking first! Especially in a neighborhood with mostly well water!
