Motivational Mondays
If I ever feel like watching a movie on YouTube before going to sleep, I usually search for Thailand funny advertisements or motivational stories. One video that I recently came across is a 3-minute Thai short story that carries a deeper meaning for those who watch it.
This short 3-minute video is about a young man who lives a normal and simple life in a neighborhood. He isn't rich, but he finds ways to make a living and take care of himself. Since he lives alone, I can say that he's an orphan and doesn't have any family members.
However, his neighborhood becomes like a family to him. They support and care for him, making him feel loved. It's really nice to see how he has strong bonds with the people around him, showing that family doesn't always have to be related by blood.
Even though he doesn't have much, he has a kind heart. He's always ready to share his little money or food with those who need it. It's truly amazing how he puts the well-being of others before his own. This selflessness shows that he's not a selfish person. His actions remind us to be kind to one another.
I was really surprised when I saw he give his last bit of money to a beggar who was a little girl. He didn't have much, but he still wanted to help someone in need. The little girl was unsure about taking the money, but she eventually accepted it. With the money he gave her, she could now pay for her school fees and go to school.
I must say, he is truly special. He not only helps the elderly but also shows love for nature and trees. What's amazing is that doing these kind acts makes him happy. The joy he feels from helping others is like finding a golden treasure. It's heartwarming to see how his selflessness brings a smile to his face and fills his heart with happiness.
I have no doubt that he would be happier than some of the world's wealthiest people. I am aware that wealth is not equal to happiness because people with money often have a great deal of debt to pay off.
When you become rich, you may start spending more money. And when you spend more, there's a chance that you might accumulate debt. However, if you choose to buy things using your own money instead of taking loans, you can avoid getting into debt.
This video taught me the importance of being grateful for what we have, even if it may seem less compared to others. It's a reminder that having debt is a bigger problem, and we should appreciate the simple things in life. I feel grateful for all the things that I have.
I'm thankful for all the smiles that my family has given me. Even though we have our tough times, we know that it shall pass because we've learned to be grateful and accept things according to God's plan.
Have you done anything recently to make yourself or your family happy? One simple act of kindness can make a big difference, and it doesn't cost a thing.
It's important to appreciate what we have on our table every day, as some people don't have a place to call home or a table to sit at. Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts this Monday. Take care and have a blessed day. ๐
