As I'm writing here, it's about 6:31am on Saturday morning, and I miraculously fell asleep last night while trying to retrieve my old Facebook account, which I had passed over to my son to handle. And he created new passwords and totally forgot about them. After I claimed my old Facebook, I saw the memories were from 10 years ago. It's been decades. And without further ado, here are some of the best memories I shared there, and I'm writing them down here, so they won't go missing again if I ever forget my old Facebook account password.
Just to highlight it to all readers, this is a new community about the Land Below The Wind, Borneo, Malaysia. If any of you are planning a visit to Malaysia, do come over to Sabah or Sarawak, in east Malaysia. You may find a beautiful rainforest that is still preserved, islands, foods, and cultures.
Here is a little info about Mabul Island and Mataking Island.
Mabul Island is one of Malaysia's most beautiful islands.
Mabul is a small island off Sabah's southern coast.
The island is known as one of the best muck diving destinations in the world.
If you've ever plan to visit Malaysia, you may fly to the east and then take a bus to Semporna. The island was once a fishing village. It became popular with scuba divers after the 1990s due to its proximity to Sipadan Island.

Mataking, which translates as 'The Eyes of King,' redefines dive resort and provides the best visual delight of both worlds; land and water natures alike.
Been there myself, amazed me with the pristine natural beauty of the white sandy beach, blue sky, and swaying coconut trees.
As conclusion, I suggest to all travellers that wanted to come and have visit, this two island, is a MUST visit and you won't regret it. Mataking, which translates as 'The Eyes of King,' redefines dive resort and provides the best visual delight of both land and water natures.
This was my first trip to the island with my partner, cousins, and friends who came all the way from west Malaysia. Since me and my partner resided in Tawau and as he was one of the police officers that protected the island under PGA [General Operation Force], we were all prepared and felt protected.
We were off to Semporna from Tawau by road, and there were 14 of us, including me. It took us merely about an hour and a half to reach Semporna Town.
Once we reached Semporna Town, we headed to the jetty where we would ride a boat to Mataking Island and Mabul Island. We are going to be island hopping, they said. But I guess one island is too beautiful to leave and spend time with.

It's cold and windy, and as a remembrance of this photo, I was 16 weeks pregnant with my youngest daughter.
Island dogs were everywhere, as if they were on vacation every day for being on the island.
