I slept in a little bit today, and it's a lovely Saturday. If you read my previous blog, you understand why.
I sincerely hope everyone has a fantastic weekend ahead. Don't forget to spend it with those who are important to you or your loved ones.
My daughter has been looking forward to this day all week. As a mother, I always encourage my child to do what they want as long as it doesn't go too far.
Cosplay is a trend that is gaining popularity, particularly with teenagers and school children.
As far as I'm aware, Kota Kinabalu, other major cities in other states, as well as Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia are all very fond of this cosplay event.
Today, Mydin Hypermart at Sejati Ujama, mile 7, has become one of the venues for this cosplay festival, which lasts for two days, November 26–27 (Saturday and Sunday). It starts from 10am until 8:30pm.
After getting ready at noon, we left for Mydin at 1:30. Just to let everyone know, it takes only 1.3 km to travel by car from our house to Mydin. Yes, it's very close. We didn't scurry to get there because of this.
When we arrived at Mydin, the crowd's attention was increasingly drawn to the cosplay stage and the participating cosplayers.
My younger brother and his wife were there when we met them. I took my two boys there to look at all the cosplayers and take pictures of them.
We took a quick break after a while, and since this cosplay stage was next to Uncle Bob's fast food, we decided to sit down and relax rather than continue to stand around. Since we had already eaten at home before moving to Mydin, we only ordered some water and chicken.

There are numerous performances and cosplay contests held, but few people attend them. Due to my distance from the stage, I was unable to record any video or take any pictures of the performances.
My boys and I walked again after taking a break and noticed the sales booths close to the stage. The crowd is expanding, and more and more Sandakan cosplayers are showing up.
The event's MC summoned all of the cosplayers in attendance for a photo shoot on stage. I've included a video I shot at the occasion here.
It was getting crowded after the photo shoot, so my mother, my two sons, and I hurried home. Because she wanted to spend the day with her cosplay friends and school friends, my daughter, the only Joker, didn't accompany us home today.
In conclusion, I had a wonderful day today. where my family and I can spend time together and where we can also see a wide range of interesting and colourful costumes. I wish you all a happy day. There is no harm in doing good, so take every opportunity to.
