This Chicago neighborhood offers a fantastic Halloween photo walk.

There is something magical about walking through residential streets in late October. The colorful autumn leaves add plenty of beauty, but it seems that overnight the front porches and historic homes transform into stages for ghouls, goblins, and giant inflatables.
Let's take an autumn neighborhood photo stroll to see some of the best sidewalk sights this year!

This creepy carnival of sinister clowns bearing unexpected "gifts" lurk right along the sidewalk edge.

Clown holding the gift box is called "Monkey Business" : This 6.5-foot Halloween animatronic retails for around $329 – $379 st Spirit Halloween stores. . It features a moving jaw/speech, motion sensors, and a surprise pop-up monkey head inside the "Just 4 You" box. I posted a video short of the monkey head popping out of the box as a short in Waves

The black and white clown can say phrases including-
*"Monkey see… Monkey CHEW!"
*"Oh, hey! Ready for the SURPRISE? Don't worry, he doesn't bite... too hard!"
*"Are you curious what's in the box? So was this monkey!"

"Sweet Treat Saul" is the Ice Cream Clown A 6-foot animated figure with glowing eyes and moving head/mouth actions is usually priced around $150 – $200 at Spirit Halloween stores.

Meanwhile, others keep it classic and tasteful with corn stalks and pumpkins

These Classic Jack-o'-Lanterns, paired with a giant fuzzy spider on the front door and knife-wielding black cat cutouts, bring more of a traditional Halloween charm to welcome trick-or-treaters. I did notice the great railing shadows on the steps.

This home has an enormous rooftop inflatable of a massive, sharp-toothed werewolf keeping watch over the street. Down at street level the car parked curbside becomes part of the fun with a ghost passenger.

This custom, handmade folk-art dragon is
right on the sidewalk outside a multi-story city residence,.
Constructed on a mobile, heavy-duty cart frame, the dragon's body is wrapped in textured foil and bright orange structural framing.
There are multi-colored string lights embedded along its torso, feather accents, and razor-sharp painted teeth.

For fans of classic cinema, a three-piece black-and-white striped Beetlejuice Sandworm emerges directly out of the grass, arching back and forth as if burrowing right under the sidewalk.

This mega-mansion is located at 1932 N. Burling Street in Chicago's affluent Lincoln Park neighborhood. The home features an impressive upper-level display of nine hooded grim reaper figures suspended from the top-floor balconies high above the street.

The grand stone entryway is guarded by a towering, bandage-wrapped mummy standing tall behind the wrought-iron fence.
If you look closely you’ll spot the humorous "No Trespassing: We're Tired of Hiding the Bodies" sign.
