Food prices here have gotten ridiculous, but prices in the city are higher than my local grocery store.

I can buy Brussel sprouts for around 2.50 lb.
Green beans and brocolli are about $2 lb.

I bought 2 pears yesterday for $1 each.

Prices will get much higher when locally grown produce is no longer in season and produce is trucked in.
