"Shimmering Summer" exhibition at βThe Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe captures the reflection of the Chicago sky exactly as the artist intended. The visit to the Gadens provided plenty of opportunities for photos! I hope you enjoy these!
"Evanescent," is an immersive architectural light and sound installation created by the Sydney-based design studio Atelier Sisu, led by artists Renzo B. Larriviere and Zara Pasfield.
The piece is designed to challenge our perceptions of space and time. By mimicking the form of a giant bubble, the artists symbolize the transient, fragile nature of life. It serves as a visual reminder to stay present and appreciate the moment before it pops or drifts away
Gemini
The exhibit was created during the pandemic in 2020 and has traveled the world.
Dichroic Film: The spheres are made from a specialized, iridescent PVC material. As natural sunlight passes through it at different angles during the day, it splits the light into a shifting rainbow spectrum, perfectly replicating the look of real soap bubbles.

At night there is LED lighting inside the bubbles.
