We have been talking about doing a topic of the week inspired by the Ecency Discord chat and this week
@beeber got us started with her post- Emergency Sweets- when
@dickturpin told us about his emergency stash in his desk door at work.

When my kids were little I did have an emergency stash of sweets hidden in secret places around the house where no one would think to look. Often they were back behind the dish cloths and pot holders in one of the kitchen drawers. Or in the heavy cast iron Dutch oven at the back of the pantry, under the heavy lid.
But these days I live alone and can keep my stash of sweets in plain sight!
This jar full of lollipops inspired the name that my grandchildren called me when they were little. To differentiate between their two grandmothers they called me 'Lolly' because of this jar of sweet treats
The funny part was that they called their other grandmother 'Jungle' because of all the houseplants that she had in her home. Poor 'Jungle grandma' got some funny looks when we were out in public and the kids were shouting to get her attention! I have always been happy to be 'Lollipop grandma' !
This jar full of Wine Gums is all because of the Ecency chat! A while back @dickturpin mentioned that he was snacking on wine gums which caused me to remember these sweets that I first tried while touring around London in 2001. I was able to order Gustav 's Wine Gums on Amazon and I set them in an out of the way spot, otherwise I am tempted to grab a handful whenever I go past!
