What a delightful weekend! My kids and grandkids that are old enough have all been vaccinated and felt like it was safe enough to spend the weekend together at my house. It was the first time in well over a year that we have all been together.
I received gifts of red roses, yellow begonias, pink orchids and a lovely cedar planter that my grandson made filled with succulents for Mothers Day.
The weather was cool, but everyone brought food and we had a cookout on the grill and just enjoyed being together, face to face! It's so much better than staying in touch by texting.
And we ate cake!
And made tentative plans to get together again in 2 weeks!
