Le Castellet is a charming feudal village in Provence and I am meeting there (virtually) with 
It is great race track and after watching Qualifying today I am quite excited to see the French Grand Prix.
Paul Louis Marius Ricard was a French industrialist who built the track in 1969 and was the creator of a brand of pastis, an anise-based spirit that bears his name. You have got to love black licorice, and I do, but a well watered down pastis is tasty on a hot summer day while sitting in a French garden after a full day of sightseeing!
ESPN's Grand Prix Sunday begins at 6:30 am on Sunday morning my time, so a pastis during the race is out of the question. Maybe a croissant with a cup of tea will be more appropriate!
I've never been to the track, but I have been to the medieval village of Le Castellet. Here are a couple of my old photos of the village taken while traveling in France.
