Right on. I'm glad you've found this resiliency in yourself. I think feeling that way in childhood can cause the mind to recall great detail, for protective purposes... You turn that shit all to gold! Go right on. You know that the saying, "blood is thicker than water," originally meant that the tires we create outside of family are the stronger deeper bonds... And now people throw it around when they want to tell you that you should be loyal to your family even if they have winged you terribly. Isn't that ironic? I think forgiveness is something that we do for ourselves to empty ourselves of the poison... And it does not mean that we have to continue to afford people new chances to cause it's further harm. If they have proven that they are disloyal then we owe them no sort of loyalty. And bullies can bite a poo. Maybe they will take stock of themselves someday and ask for forgiveness, but maybe not.
