Stranger Things Season 4 Vol 2 - Spoilers and intense plot holes

The much anticipated wait for season 4 of Stranger Things was delivered with a mighty punch but viewers had to wait an entire month for Vol 2 of season 4. I thought we were in for quite a treat and while the viewing made great for tying up loose ends it was only a 2 episode block.
Which begs to differ why there was such a long wait for 2 episodes and why they didn't just add them to Vol 1 although there was quite the break in the story between Vol 1 and 2. I still think the writers had some explaining to do to tie in season 3 and 4 as the arch has taken an entirely new path, one that we aren't too familiar with.

The biggest inconsistency in Stranger Things to date is the main villain of season for and the apparent complete removal of demigorgans and mind flayer.
Although we see our Demigorgans in Soviet Russia they are no longer existing in the upside down as our heros can freely walk around the woods and move about without any in site.
And it wasn't until Vol 2 that I think we got to see the Mind Flayer again in what was a bit of an origins story and for being such a strong and powerful nemesis which mind you wasn't actually defeated in season 3 just sent back home it is no where to be seen. Except some pretty hungry bats seem to be around now.

Allegedly there are only 10 Demigorgans tops and they are all residing in Soviet Russia, despite knowing that they can breed because they did in an earlier episode. Not to mention the story has completely changed with the upside first being discovered when El was being used to spy on Russian intelligent officers and came across it.
When she touched it the creature had the ability to perform cross dimensional transportation which is still unclear on how and no other demogorgans have been able to.
The other thing to remember is that the upside down had a larger ecosystem in previous season with Demogorgans feasting on other animals and eggs yet in current episodes Stranger Things has missed the opportunity to expand on the native animals of this place, instead opting for completely altering the upside down into something else. But that isn't even the biggest plot hole.
So we have now learned that Vecna is actually #1 and he is a crazed psychopathic killer that El battled and sent to the upside down and didn't even remember. Despite the mass deaths being caused by a demogorgan that El touched and was able to come through, hmmm.
So anyway, Vecna gets sent to this other world and it is a waste land, Demogorgans are there and we see him come in contact with what we think is the Mind Flayer. We won't know until season 5 but we think he consumes the Mind Flayer and then he some how creates a new Hawkins.
Now, as we know Russia has a gate so if Vecna created a new Hawkins as he knew it is there a Russia in it? also, how is Hawkins frozen in 6 November 1983 which is in the future from when he knew it.
Yeah ok he can teleport through and take peoples soles, this makes no sense either because as the story is telling us he has been trying to get back since El sent him there. He is literally the ultimate power and could have come back in season 1 but I am guessing having lost his battle with El he may not have felt to confident.
There are a heap more plot holes like what happened to the illusion creating Eight? Remember when El ran off and allegedly all these other kids had different super powers but in Season 4 they all have the same powers.
Lets briefly point to the fact that Vecna didn't even defend himself when he was being shot and doused in petrol..... diminished his fear factor and the Hive mind.
Not to mention Dr Brenners return itself is a miracle that still hasn't been explained because he got eaten by a Demogorgan. But the one that takes the cake, out of an ever evolving ever increasing plot hole forming story line is.......... Hoppers Ankle. Hopper is a demi-god with healing probabilities beyond this world. He literally broke his ankle so he could get his chains off and within a few hours, no limping he is fully healed!
Anyway, our team are back together having finally closed off the Soviet Russia loop and now there is a massive gaping hole in Hawkins between the upside down and Earth.
Stranger Things is sooooo bad that it is good, none of it makes sense the cannon is weak but lets be honest, we love it and can't wait for season 5 and how it all comes to an end. It also goes to show, you don't need to be the best write to make a cult classic.
