Alright, alright to the title is a little bit misleading, but it is the dream car right? I never said to what ratio or if I could actually fit into it. Being RC still means I'm driving it... well kinda?
I mean, if I use the wide angle on my camera, move in real close and position the RC car a certain way it's still out the front of my house and looks bigger than what it is?
Ever since I was a kid I've never been a lambo lover it was always fhe Ferrari for me. The Purrr of the engine, the red really got me. Maybe it's the part of me that has Italian heritage that attracts me to such a beautiful beast. But she's got curves in all the right places even if this one is just a model.
Either way I took her out for a spin the other day and I tell ya what, even though she's small she's still a head turner. I mean does it matter that people were looking at me, a grown man with a toy car held high in the sky or on the ground with me bent over in odd positions.
I think someone even mentioned calling the police at one stage but who cares when you've got a Ferrari!
But in all honesty I bought her for a blockchain game that I'm creating where people will be able to race against each other in order to win prizes and tokens.
I jammed together a bit of a video to make it cool and I've got a few others that I'll be using to make more videos.
The interesting thing is that some of the shots locked 100% real and it fooled a lot of people into believing that I had a Ferrari. Oh how I wish and if I ever made it to a point where I had a lot of cash and I could justify buying a Ferrari I totally would.
But let's be honest they're not really all that worth it but as an RC car they can be a lot of fun to play with and you can get the same thrills..... well no, you can't get the same thrills but you can pretend to 馃ぃ
I've been more into drones over the past few years but I don't particularly see them as toys but they're heck a hell of a lot of good fun to play with. I'm almost due for an upgrade as I've had the same model for 6 years now and she still flies well.
But I have to admit driving around town in this bad boy has been a lot of fun and being able to manoeuvre around and take some awesome images made it even more fun!
Do you have RC cars and race them IRL? It would be great to hear about others who do this too.
