Goooood morning Silver and gold stickers I hope you're making moves to hedge against the failing dollar.

I'm not sure about my recent investment in a 1/10 ounce gold coin because silver price has been low and it is a good time to buy Silver.

With the move to renewable energy there will be an increase of need for Silver in all the infrastructure components this will put significant buy pressure on the Silver industry.

Platinum is still quite volatile and where it is needed for Hydrogen fuel cells the need for Silver in more components is greater.

But I took the plunge into a Perth mint gold bullion coin I was expecting it to be a little larger around a AUD $2 coin but while it is just a little smaller than a AUD5c piece it's weight is about on par with a $AUD2 coin.

Golds value seems to be increasing due to the war in Ukraine and the move between China and Russie to build a global currency based on precious metals.

This growth in the sector will only continue as Russia is one of the largest producers of Gold and they will be looking for a way around current financial restrictions.

With India now also trading with Russia precious metals specifically gold will probably keep rising.

I was planning on sticking to gold bullion as I have been finding that bullion is easier to offload as when it comes to coins you really need to find a coin collector as there are premiums associated with coins.

But I wanted to atleast have one gold coin and 1 ounce coins are a little out of my price range currently.

Most the investments I am making today is for my kids future as I was going to get an online savings account but if we look at cash VS precious metals then precious metals win out in the long run.

The size comparison between a 1 troy ounce Silver coin and a 1/10 ounce Gold coin is staggering.

But the value between the two is quite amazing although I paid a premium for the Silver troy ounce due to cost of dilvery also I think my Silver coin will have a larger price increase over the years due to the year it was produced and the effigy of the Queen.

It's a 2022 Troy Ounce and possibly the last to depict the Queen with King Charles III now being head of state.

It is yet to be seen if mints will commence production of new coins with the King or continue with Queen Elizabeth II.

Time to ship these bad boys off to the vault in a set and forget method and hopefully be of use in 20 years time when my kids need them.

What are your out look for the future of metals?
