After playing a gig at one of my favorite places in California USA. Most of the gigs we play are 3-4 hours, so it IS work, believe me. BUT I love it. Hopefully you love what you do as well. As I have said before:
If you do not like your work, look at it as a stepping stone.
Your current job will provide funding for what you really want to do.
It will be hard, but it will be worth it.
