Painting on tapara, bloom 🌸 [Español/ Eng].

Hola amigos de Hive Diy, un gusto poder compartir mi primera publicación en esta maravillosa comunidad llena de creatividad, soy amante de la artesanía, la pintura, las manualidades, y el arte en todas sus formas, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una pintura hecha en totuma de tapara.

Hello friends of Hive Diy, a pleasure to share my first publication in this wonderful community full of creativity, I am a lover of crafts, painting, crafts, and art in all its forms, today I want to share with you a painting made in tapara totuma.

La totuma se saca de un árbol de tapara, es el fruto del árbol y no es comestible, suele ser grande, redondo, ovalado o en forma de pera, en Venezuela bastante usado por nuestros indígenas desde hace siglos, lo utilizan para hacer diferentes tipos de artesanías como: pintura, tazas, platos, vasijas y también se usa como recipientes. Se suele abrir para sacar las semillas luego se pone a secar, para su utilización, ya que es más fácil para trabajar en ella, cuando está seca toma un lindo tono café, y ya estará lista para trabajar con ella.

Me inspiré en un nuevo florecer en este caso de la mujer, espero que les guste. Aquí les mostraré el paso a paso de mi pintura.

The totuma is taken from a tapara tree, it is the fruit of the tree and is not edible, it is usually large, round, oval or pear-shaped, in Venezuela quite used by our indigenous people for centuries, they use it to make different types of crafts such as: painting, cups, plates, pots and also used as containers. It is usually opened to take out the seeds then it is put to dry, for its use, since it is easier to work on it, when it is dry it takes a nice brown tone, and it will be ready to work with it.

I was inspired by a new flower in this case of the woman, I hope you like it. Here I will show you the step by step of my painting.

Paso 1 | Step 1. 🎨

Lije la tapara de esta manera la preparo para la pintura, ya que la pintura se adhiere mejor, limpio con un paño húmedo para eliminar las impurezas. Con un lápiz hago el dibujo o diseño a pintar.

I sanded the tapara in this way I prepare it for painting, since the paint adheres better, I clean it with a damp cloth to remove impurities. With a pencil I make the drawing or design to paint.

Paso 2 | Step 2. 🎨

Con la pintura blanca le hice un fondo, de esta manera será mejor pintar con otros colores y se verá mucho mejor, con el marcador repaso todas las líneas, luego con la pintura negra comienzo con las líneas fuertes.

With the white paint I made a background, this way it will be better to paint with other colors and it will look much better, with the marker I go over all the lines, then with the black paint I start with the strong lines.

Paso 3 | Step 3. 🎨

Después de terminar con las líneas, pinte el rostro con la pintura color carne, le di color a los labios, me encanta como se ve el rojo porque le da mucha vida y un toque de sensualidad, por eso lo elegí.

After finishing with the lines, I painted the face with the flesh colored paint, I gave color to the lips, I love how the red looks because it gives a lot of life and a touch of sensuality, that's why I chose it.

Paso 4 | Step 4 🎨

Llego el momento de florecer, para las flores mezcle el rojo con el blanco e hice varios tonos de rosados para darle distintos matices y un difuminado y agregue algunas hojas. Para el centro de las flores elegí azul, ya que me gusta como se ve el rosado y el azul, y le más fuerza a la flor.

It was time to bloom, for the flowers I mixed red with white and made several shades of pink to give different shades and a blur and added some leaves. For the center of the flowers I chose blue, because I like the way the pink and blue look, and it gives more strength to the flower.

Paso 5 | Step 5 🎨

En un principio pensé en no darle más color, pero luego me anime a pintar el cabello, lo pinte marrón claro, muchos detalles fueron surgiendo mientras pintaba, en este punto ya estaba tomando bastante vida la pintura.

At first I thought about not giving her more color, but then I decided to paint the hair, I painted it light brown, many details were emerging while I was painting, at this point the painting was already taking a lot of life.

Paso 6| Step 6 🎨

Termine de darle los detalles, los últimos trazos agregue más flores y limpie las líneas, para culminar, prepare el barniz sencillo con agua y pega, barnice toda la pintura, para que sea más duradera y le da un lindo toque brillante.

Finish giving the details, the last strokes add more flowers and clean the lines, to finish, prepare the simple varnish with water and glue, varnish all the paint, to make it more durable and gives a nice glossy touch.

Llevaba bastante tiempo sin pintar por cuestión de tiempo y estaba un poco oxidada, jejeje, espero les haya gustado, seguiré compartiendo con ustedes e ir mejorando.
