I Want to be a Grown Up!
Why bother with candy and all that is sweet,
When the world offers you bittersweet seriousness as a treat?
I don’t want a see-saw or a merry-go-round
I want a deep-seated frown and my feet on the ground.
Not gonne bother with playing in the yard,
I’d much rather focus on making debt with my credit card.
Ooooh, and mothers that smother ~ enough is ENOUGH
Just give me space, so that I can stress about stuff!
Life is to short to be wasted on bliss,
So, if I just had one wish; then it would be this:
Make me a grownup, don’t let my worries wait,
I’ll fill my heart with stress and meet seriousness at the gate!
