Weddings have this perfect feeling that I wonder why people say they don't like going for Weddings. There's just the love aura especially when it's between couples who are obviously in love with each other.
A typical Nigerian wedding has the traditional aspect, the white wedding also called church wedding, and the court wedding. Whichever one you choose to celebrate but most go for the traditional wedding.
Lately, a couple of my friends got married or are planning to get married(dates have already been fixed🤔🙂) and for me this involves asoebi buying, shoes, styles, and so many more.
And a typical me, once I feel like I owe you or you've been a good friend to me, I'll definitely like to go all put for you.
One wedding I attended that I definitely looked my best, thanks to my fashion designer was the one I attended on the 4th of December, 2021. Initially, when I saw the lace, I was discouraged because it was not what I expected at all.
I called my fashion designer immediately and poured out my mind, she told me to calm down, she'd make something out of it and I was calmed.
We finally decided on a style to make and then I went to give her the material. Few days to me getting the dress, she chatted me up that she made a slight change to my initial style and I was worried. I didn't want one of those " what you ordered for vs what you got" kinda style and I voiced out. She asked me if she has ever disappointed my styles, and it was a negative answer.
So I decided to trust her as usual, and boy, this was the best style she's ever made for me. I was practically the belle of the event. She made me the centre of the wedding ceremony. She brought life to the material and I loved the dress. I can boldly say my style was one of the best styles amongst the ladies, if not the best itself.
I enjoyed every bit of the wedding. Once you know you look good, you definitely have to have fun. And my friend's wedding was definitely one filled with love. Low key, I'm imagining how my will be and it's got no choice but to be great.
I'm happy it ended perfectly fine. I wish my friend a happy married life. Like the saying goes, in 9 months time, we hope to come for another celebration 🍾 😀.
