We all are told to do good deed, sometimes we also say we like doing good, saying it makes us a better person but there is one question we actually fail to ask ourselves, it is that why really do we do good deed
Now if we ask people around us why they do good deed, you will receive answer like...
Am doing good because I like to put smile on people face or because I like helping people.
Some might even say they want to make the world a better place. Am not saying it is bad to do good deed but what I want us think about is actually the deep reason we do such act because we all say we like doing good but actually we don't understand what push us to do it. Or even if we know, we don't acknowledge the reason because we see it as being selfish which in my point of view there is nothing wrong with it.
I want us to know that any deed we do either good or bad, we do it to satisfy our own self or to make us feel good about ourself either we know it or not. For example a person that say he or she do good deed in order to put smile on the face of the people around him, actually what that kind of person didn't know is that, even though he did it to help people around him or her, the core reason is because he want to feel good about himself to garner attention, love and respect of people.
I know some people say they don't do for love or attention but they just feel like doing it, well it is not a bad thing but what we fail to realize is that even if people don't appreciate us, we appreciate ourselves because we know what we did was good, so in the first place it is not actually about the people we did good deed to but is about ourselves on how we feel about ourselves.
Let say we help someone but the person we help did not appreciate it, even though we feel disappointed, deep down of us we also feel good because we know we did the right thing, so actually doing good deed is not about who we do it to but it is about we satisfying our own self appreciation.
