What would our planet look like without us? It won't die, no. It will actually be better off without homo-sapiens destroying every resource and abusing mother nature.
First off, animals aren't living freely anymore, they're either our food, our pets or our entertainment. When humans disappear small dog breeds will be dying out in 2 weeks and bigger dog breeds will start to hunt some of them. As well as farm animals.
There will be plants all over the world. Every building ever built will turn green with plants. Roads will start to break open as roots forces through. Where there's plants there's herbivores, and where there's herbivores there are always predators.
There will be no power after a few months, only the ones supported by hydro-electricity.
After a while building and bridges will start to collapse. After a few million years, the only signs of human-existence will be some stones of broken buildings.
People think earth needs us? They are wrong. Earth will do just fine without us...
