The leaden clouds languidly hung over the ground. It was about to begin a thunderstorm, the air was heavy, the orange sunset could hardly be seen through the cloud of clouds. The first roll of thunder struck.
Catherine was sitting on a hillock, crushing under her a pair of elastic lavender stems, and looking toward the sunset, her light dress fluttering in the wind. She shivered, but she did not want to get up. She was fascinated by the orange-gray horizon. A feeling of total loneliness drove the girl into a state of mild sadness, apathy seized her.
From behind, silently and suddenly, someone crept up, Catherine did not even notice it at once. She recognized the appearance of the stranger when the lavalaceous inflorescences swung with a slight rustle. Without taking her eyes off, Catherine quietly greeted the visitor:
Hello, Toralay.
Thoralai Stripe was a little surprised at how easily Catherine recognized her. In response, the red cat nodded and lightly, almost unnoticed, us your own fear and risk, touched her fingertips to the palm of her neighbor. Catherine pretended not to notice. Maybe because the movement was barely perceptible, or laziness took possession of it, or she was just embarrassed. But Thoralai did not even think of expecting any reaction, and therefore was pleased that she had not been rejected. There was no need for more.
For about five minutes they sat in complete silence, disturbed only by the soft rustle of lavender inflorescences in the wind. The air was filled with evening freshness, even the earth seemed warmer. The girls continued to remain silent and admired the depth of the rain sky, without saying a word, admired his amazing beauty. It seemed as if everyone was thinking about their own, but their thoughts returned to each other. Silence tightened its crystal purity.
Finally, Catherine decided on the first step. Bending the white ears, she lowered her head to Thoralai's thin shoulder and quietly purred. Surprised, but happy Torah, looked away from the darkening horizon and looked at the crown of her white interlocutor, Toralai hesitantly picked up a strand of lilacs, with white curls of hair, and buried her nose in it. She smelled the same as this boundless field with lavender flowers.

"That's probably my lavender paradise," Catherine said, barely audible.
Tora, smiling affectionately, asked as quietly:
"Let me share it with you."
Catherine framed the white muzzle under the wind and squeezed her eyes. After a short pause, she whispered:
-Yes.
