Yesterday, we went to a health facility of another municipality to observe how they conduct their 'Operation Tuli'.
The vibe inside their minor room makes me excited. It was a room full of nurses and doctors who are generous of their knowledge and skills. Lots of kids lined up to get circumcised. This procedure cost more than a thousand pesos when done in a private clinic, some families don't have the financial capabilities to afford it, so these kind of activities are really a big help in the community.
The nurse who facilitated this event shared their story on how they had to solicit financial support from other people in order to be able to buy the necessary logistics. It warms my heart to see health care workers being passionate of their duties and overcoming difficulties just so services will be delivered.
