[En/Esp] Sketchbook Chapter 16: Star Seed

Hello, dear hivers!
Today i'm sharing with you chapter number 16 of my little gallery, there are only a few pages left to finish this little challenge, which i'm excited to be about to complete since i usually left the sketchbooks half done.

Hoy les comparto el capítulo número 16 de mi pequeña galería, faltan pocas páginas para terminar este pequeño reto, el cual me emociona estar a punto de completarlo ya que usualmente dejaba los sketchbooks a medio hacer.

This stellar creature also flowed as if automatically, many times when i start to draw the first lines with my graphite pencil, i hesitate too much, also because i am used to create things with many details and sometimes there are sketches where it is not necessary to add all the possible and future details that our work of art will carry. In this case it was like that, i focus on the main figure, the main creature and the background i still didn't have it very well defined, i was thinking about adding some kind of aura around my alien, elf, star being...i wasn't sure what kind of creature it was.
Then with my calligraphy pen came the Outlining Time.

Esta criatura estelar también fluyó como de forma automática, muchas veces cuando empiezo a trazar las primeras líneas con mi lápiz de grafito, dudo demasiado, también porque estoy acostumbrada a crear cosas con muchos detalles y en ocasiones hay bocetos donde no es necesario agregar todos los posibles y futuros detalles que llevará nuestra obra de arte. En este caso fue así, me enfoco en la figura principal, la criatura protagonista y el fondo todavía no lo tenía muy bien definido, tenía pensado en agregar alguna especie de aura alrededor de mi alienígena, elfo, ser estelar... No estaba segura de qué tipo de criatura era.
Luego con mi bolígrafo caligráfico llegó la Hora del Delineado

Although my creature already had all its silhouettes well defined, i still wasn't sure about the colors i would use for the countenance of this magical being. As for the background i already knew it would be a space blue, since with this cloak i could use my light and pastel colored pencils to add light details and create a sort of galaxy.For the base i used alcohol markers and the final details of the background, I used acrylic markers.

Aunque ya mi criatura tenía todas sus siluetas bien definidas, todavía no estaba segura de los colores que usaría para el semblante de este ser mágico. En cuanto al fondo ya sabía que sería un azul espacial, ya que con este manto podría usar mis lápices de colores claros y pasteles para agregar detalles de luces y crear una especie de galaxia. Para la base usé marcadores de alcohol y los detalles finales del fondo, usé marcadores acrílicos.

Something peculiar about my creatures is that their countenance transmits me subtle emotions, i think i have already mentioned before that i love to draw them with closed eyes and that somewhat neutral and serene expression like a Buddha, in this case it was more like a being from some bluish galaxy, all of them always have certain details under their eyes or coming out of their eyes as a kind of tears, to emphasize that they are empathic and sentient creatures.

Algo peculiar de mis criaturas es que su semblante me transmite emociones sutiles, creo que ya lo he mencionado antes que me encanta dibujarlos con ojos cerrados y esa expresión algo neutral y serena como de un buda, en este caso era más como un ser de alguna galaxia azulada, todos suelen tener siempre ciertos detalles debajo de sus ojos o que salen de sus ojos como una especie de lágrimas, para destacar que son criaturas empáticas y sintientes.

Blue is one of my favorite colors, so i have a kind of addiction to draw blue creatures, blue is usually associated with sadness or melancholy, but i perceive it more as a spiritual color, which transmits calm and tranquility, a color that takes us immediately to the sea, to the water and water represents emotions, the depth of the soul.

El color azul es uno de mis colores favoritos, así que tengo una especie de adicción de dibujar criaturas azules, el azul normalmente lo asocian a la tristeza o melancolía, pero lo percibo más como un color espiritual, que transmite calma y tranquilidad, un color que nos lleva inmediatamente al mar, al agua y el agua representa las emociones, la profundidad del alma.

And that's how my new star creature turned out, for a moment i thought that maybe i wouldn't like it because at the beginning of the sketch i didn't know exactly how i would add the details. But at the end of this chapter i liked the result, it fulfilled the initial idea of transmitting that galactic and magical atmosphere 😊💙.Until the next chapter!

Y así fue como quedó mi nueva criatura de las estrellas, por un momento pensé que tal vez no me gustaría porque al inicio del boceto no sabía exactamente cómo agregaría los detalles. Pero al final de este capitulo me gustó el resultado, cumplió con la idea inicial de transmitir esa atmósfera galáctica y mágica 😊💙Hasta el próximo capítulo!
