Here is the trouble with DTube. Half the time I am either unable to post a comment or upload a SNAP. If I can't upload a custom SNAP, I am left with having to upload the SNAP I just took, which lacks the graphics to quickly let viewers know what it is they are seeing before watching. This is after having adjusted the SNAP size in photoshop to fit the desired DTube SNAP size of 1024 pixels.
People have reported having to upload their videos to youtube first, then download them from youtube and re-upload the downloaded video back to DTube using the Brave browser. Personally I think this was just a stunt to promote her youtube channel, because it seems really redundant to have to upload to youtube then download from there and use a browser other than Chrome to upload her video. I have been uploading well using Chrome, and I am sure anyone will be able to upload to DTube using the Brave browser, provided that you are able to log into your Steemit account.
I am unable to log into my Steemit account, for some reason, which I talked about in another video here on DTube, asking for help. NO ONE RESPONDED!!! The community remained silent. I think the only couple responses in the form of a thumbs up, was posted by bots, which although nice in terms of rewards, were completely useless in finding the answer to my dilemma.
It seems that human interaction is really rare here on DTube. The very few times that I actually communicated with other human beings has been very rare. I was warned about this by another DTuber. It seems to me that most people posting to DTube are just after one thing, to get views, to get people to give them thumbs up and collect the rewards. There is rather a very small amount of actual human communication, something that youtube does not lack. This is very unfortunate, as I would expect DTube to be a place where people interact quite a bit and help each other out in any way they can.
I guess that's the human fallacy. People get wrapped up in their daily lives and don't have time to get involved in the lives of others. That's why we post our videos and do not comment or view the videos of others. Maybe too may of the DTube community live out in the bush with only limited internet access which permits them enough time to upload their videos and does not give them time to watch the work of others. Maybe Steemit is the only true place where people are actually involved. DTube seems to be a passive medium....
