Top 5 list of challenges of being an Expat Dads in South Korea

After living for over a decade as an expat in South Korea, 8 years of which as a dad, these are the most addressed things by dads living abroad, particularly in South Korea.

Clearly this is not an exhaustive list of things that can prove to be a challenge, but they are a small list of the things that I find challenging.

Living in South Korea has it's ups and downs, and I definitely have a love-hate relationship with this country, it's culture and people. But just today, on a randomly snowy morning, well snow mixed with rain, while I was standing at the intersection waiting for a green light to come on, a lady came up from behind and offered to share her umbrella with me. How sweet was that. THANK YOU LADY!
