The media blackout is very creepy!! It's so scary telling your family something just for them to respond quizzically, like that isn't in the news. Not being able to find info...that grasping feeling reminds me of first waking up, knowing things are fucked up, but not having a clue where to start looking and what to look for. I think other people can relate, and that's the kind of confusion the system loves. It's quite curious how the average person equates the news with authority. I guess losing freedom of the press is when censorship is getting really bad.
