You have to be an idiot who's never been strung along before to really believe that you'll be allowed to have your wedding of whatever it is...next year. Signing wedding papers without the ceremony is a total animal farm of what marriage is supposed to be.

It's freaky that they're considering not issuing licenses at all; that's one of the few hallmarks people think of when they think of a free country: the right to marry whom you want. Oh, well as long as they're not telling you who you must marry...and as long as it's not any racial discrimination and it's happening to everyone at the same time, and it's for our imminent safety...or the greater good, or communism, or who the fuck even knows?!
