I use the peashooter for this boss battle as I can hit the ducks easier so there is a clear path for me to jump over Beppi. The spread is great because you can cover the balloon dogs while hitting Beppi's head. A trick for hitting Beppi more is by going under Beppi while on his horse and use the spread to hit him. Watch out for the penguins in the final stage as they throw baseballs that are hard to avoid.
