Brinjal is cultivated in almost all types of soils from light sand to heavy etal soils.Light sandy soil is suitable for early variety Brinjal cultivation.In order to cultivate Brinjal in this type of soil,it is necessary to apply a lot of organic manure and other fertilizers frequently.Ethanol loam and poly loam soils are suitable for Brinjal cultivation and Brinjal yield is higher in these soils.The soil selected for Brinjal cultivation needs to be deep,fertile and well drained.In order to get good yield,it is essential to select suitable varieties.There are many varieties of Brinjal in Bangladesh.There are many differences in the nature,color,size,shape,etc.Of the tree from one species to another.In Bangladesh,mainly tall fruits,round fruits and round varieties of Brinjal are cultivated more.All varieties can be divided into two seasonal varieties,such as winter Brinjal and perennial Brinjal.Winter varieties of Brinjal are cultivated in Rabi season because,this variety of Brinjal can bear fruit only in Rabi season.And perennial Brinjal can be cultivated at any time of the year.Brinjal is cultivated in large quantities in Bangladesh.
