Hola mi gente creativa!! Hoy les traigo un proyecto muy sencillo. Es un trabajo por encargo. Adornará la habitación de una pequeña que nacerá pronto y se llamará Amalia.
Su mamá me ha pedido que le haga la inicial decorada con algo alegórico a Minnie Mouse. Confieso que no me gusta mucho la temática, pero trataré de hacerlo lo mejor que pueda para satisfacer su deseo.

Hello my creative people! Today I bring you a very simple project. It is a commissioned work. It will decorate the room of a little girl who will be born soon and will be called Amalia.
Her mom has asked me to make her initial decorated with something allegorical to Minnie Mouse. I confess that I don't really like the theme, but I will try to do my best to satisfy her wish.
Without further ado, here is the list of materials and the step-by-step instructions.
Necesitaremos:
Cartón corrugado grueso que mida 30 x 30 cm.
Pegamento (cola blanca)
Papel reutilizado blanco
Papel artesanal
Molde de la letra A y lazo.
Lápiz
Regla
Cúter(una cuchilla y uno de presición)
Tijera
Pinturas acrílicas (negra, rosada y blanca)
Barniz acrílico
Pinceles y pinceleta
We will need:
- Thick corrugated cardboard measuring 30 x 30 cm
- Glue (white glue)
- Reused white paper
- Craft paper
- Letter A and bow mold
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Cutter (one blade and one precision cutter)
- Scissors
- Acrylic paints (black and pink)
- Acrylic varnish
- Brushes and paintbrush
Primeramente forraremos el cartón por ambas caras. Extendiendo una capa de pegamento cubriremos una cara con papel blanco reutilizado y la otra con papel artesanal. Esta última será el lado visible de nuestro trabajo. Con la ayuda de los moldes marcaremos la letra y el lazo y los calaremos.
First we will cover the cardboard on both sides. Spreading a layer of glue we will cover one side with reused white paper and the other with craft paper. The latter will be the visible side of our work. With the help of the molds we will mark the letter and the bow and we will trace them.
Posteriormente cubriremos los bordes expuestos del cartón con tiras de papel artesanal previamente cortadas. Después pintamos de color negro y rosado según el diseño escogido.
Then we cover the exposed edges of the cardboard with previously cut strips of craft paper. Then we paint black and pink according to the chosen design.
Seguidamente usando papel artesabal y una ponchadora en forma de círculo de 1,5 cm de diámetro perforaremos 30 unidades. También pintarenas de rosado una tira de 1,5 x 20cm
Next, using craft paper and a punching machine in the shape of a circle of 1.5 cm in diameter, we will punch 30 units. We will also paint a strip of 1,5 x 20cm in pink.
Distribuimos de manera armónica todos los círculos en la letra y el lazo, ponemos la tira en la unión de los 2 colores y pegamos todo. Damos una capa de barniz para un mejor acabado y protección. Finalmente ponemos cinta doble contacto por detrás.
De esta manera quedará lista.
Harmoniously distribute all the circles on the letter and the bow, put the strip at the junction of the 2 colors and glue everything. Apply a coat of varnish for a better finish and protection. Finally we put double contact tape on the back.
