There are more than 11000 species of ants in the super family Formicoidea.
Some species of ants can submerge in water for a number of hours.Nearly all ants move slowly ,especially in the cold.They usually live in terrestrial habitats.As far as l know,Iceland and Greenland contain few or no ants.
''Neither man nor ants has ruled the sea....Ants were the first landed proprietors before man'' just as Espinas strongly confirms.
Though some species of ants can be termed thieves,slave making and even sluggards(after all they are ants)lol...Generally ants are great counsellors.
WISE WORDS
Despite their rivalry which some even exist among we humans with high mentality,ants are wise creatures...believe it or not..They really are.As unique as you,you need to go to the ant and listen to his wise words that can make you as wise as him.....and more generally Ants are;
*Industrous:
Some ants go for harvesting in the night.Some make non-germinated seeds into soup or paste before they eat it.There are also ants who weaves and nests and many more..Its so obvious that each does dilligently whatever he/she can do although they are not strong like you
*Time Conscious:
I still see Time Management an essential tool fro human development.The ants provide their supplies in the summer and gathers her food in the harvest.Depending on the work they do,some come out during the day and some during the night.Are we not special than them?Lets learn from them cos they do not even see us learning from them...hahahah
*Co-operation:
Do you remember how the ants captured the tiny pieces of food that dropped from your dinning table?
I once watched this activity carefully when l was young which l believe you did too...Those days l just couldnt afford to miss a grain of rice..Before i could realise a ''security ant'' was seriously watching some grains of rice on the floor.Hurriedly he went to call his relatives and a matter of seconds the food was surrounded.
This is communication at its peak...The food was carried in unity straight into their apartment.
Every ant contributes his quota for achievement of ''collective security and development''
WHEN EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS,EVERYONE UNDERSTOOD.
WHEN EVERYONE FEELS,EVERYONE IS FELT.
*Selfless;
In the kingdom there are no rulers or generals...Every ant is a king/queen and a servant.They seek the interest of all.
But when there is the need for urgent activity to be carried out,the ants responsible and qualified for that activity see to the completion of it.
So no ant is power drunk.
