Intro
Hello everyone, welcome back to my weekly challenge with Lava Spider. Lava Spider is monster from chaos legion edition belong to fire unit. He has range attack and cheap mana cost, He is so useful in low mana cap rule set.
In this post i want to share my battle in gold league. As i said before, Lava Spider very usefull in low mana ruleset. So in this post i show when i used in low mana ruleset.
Lore
Few explorers dare to go deep within the volcanoes of the world. Tales are told of great spiders that weave threads of fire and trap their enemies in webs of flame. An inescapable and painful death.
When the Chaos Legion entered the Splinterlands through the great volcano in the center of Praetoria, they saw the lava spiders and used them to their advantage. Transporting these spiders into areas that need defense is a win-win for both groups. For the Chaos Legion, it is an easy barrier to ward off unwanted visitors. And for the lava spiders, they get free meals from the curious, the foolish, and the unwary adventurers that seek to strike at the Chaos Legion.
Prepare For The Battle
Rule set :
Mana cap : 46
Little League : Only use Monsters and Summoners with 4 or less mana.
Fog of war : Snipe and sneak abilities are gone.
Available : Fire, Water, Earth, Life
Let we look brightly, this battle available with 46 mana cost but the rule attach Little League. This rule are tricky because actualy we just can put monster with maximum 28 mana cost (4 x 6 = 24 to pay cost at monster and 4 other cost to pay in summoner). The key in this battle are Little League, we just put the monster with 4 or less mana. Generaly, monster in low mana have a little heatlh and not much damage. In this battle do not required monster with sneak and snipe ability.
My Lineup
| Tarsa is rare summoner from chaos legion edition and belong to fire unit. She give buff +1 health and +1 malee attack. His ability is useful in Little League rule set and this is the reason why i used this summoner. | |

| Antoid Platoon is a common monster from chaos legion edition and belong with fire unit. At level 8, Antoid Platoon has Shield and Scavenger ability. Scavenger ability is very important to increase health when any monster dies during the battle. | |
| Magma Troll is a monster from untamed edition and belong to fire unit. This monster still free to play and at level 1 He has reach ability with 1 malee attack. The best way to put this monster in second position. | |
| Serpentine Spy a monster from untamed edition, and still available to free to play. At level 1, he has 2 malee attack with opportunity ability. I put this monster in 3rd position to give more damage. | |
| Ant Miners is monster reward edition, this monster are not available free to play. I have rented at level 8 to used in gold league. At level 8, He has shield and scavanger ability. I put this monster at 4rd position to give more time to use scavenger abiliy. | |
| Lava Spider is the theme at this moment. He is monater from chaos lagion edition and still available free to play. But i have to rented at level 8 to give max damage to my opponent. | |
| At the last position i put Spark Pixies, he is a monster fron untamed edition and still available free to play at level 1. I put this monster because he has 2 range attack, even tought his health only 1. |
Opponent lineup
Lets we breakdown the opponent lineup.
First, He/She put Alric Stormbringer to give +1 magic attack in each monster. Then in 1st are Kelp initiate with 5 heatlh, this monster are good to be tanker in low mana. Moving forward, in 2nd Captain's Ghost, he has 2 magic attack and 2 health without armor. In 3rd position there is Elven Mistic from neutral monster, she has 1 magic attack and 3 health no armor. At the 4rd position there is Venary spellsmith, he has 1agic attack and 2 health without armor. Atthe 5 rd there is Crustacean King, this monster has heal ability with no attack at level 1. The last position there is Kulu Swimhunter, this monster has 2 range attack, and 4 health.

Round 1
- This battle start the summoner give buff on each monster.
- Kelp initiate has defeated after being attacked by Spark Pixies, Lava Spider, and Serpentine Spy.
- Antoid Platoon has defeated
- Captain's Ghost has defeated after attacked by Magma Troll
- Ant Miner is Monster with scavenger ability +3 health.
Round 2
- Elven Mistic has 4 health was defeated after attacked by Spark Pixies and Lava Spider.
- Magma Troll was defeated after attacked by Venary spellsmith.
- Serpentine Spy was defeated aftet attacked by Kulu Swimhunter.
- Ant Miner has +3 more health.
Round 3
- Venary Spellsmith has defeated after attacked by Spark Pixies.
- Crustacean King has defeated after attacked by Lava Spider and Ant miner.
- Ant miner has +2 more health from scavenger ability.
Round 4
- At this round i still have Ant Miner with huge health, Lava Spider, and Spark Pixies.
- Kulu Swimhunter has defeated after attacked by Spark Pixies and Lava Spider.
Battle Result
By this battle i got 8,646 DEC and 40 rating.
Did My Strategy Work and did i like Lava Spider?
My strategy work perfectly. As i tought, in little league each player only put monster with 4 mana or less. Monster with 4 mana generaly have low health. The key winning at this battle is scavenger ability and put this monster in right position. I like this monster expecialy to used in Little League rule.
My Review About Lava Spider
I thought Lava Spider still undervalued, i dont expect if this monster usefull to collab with right tanker. If we see in stats, Lava Spider at level 1 have snipe ability, at level 6, He has snare Ability, and at max level He has more ability, its poison. At level 1, he has Twin brother with Fire Batlee from beta editiom. They have same heatlh, speed, and range attack.
