I think leaders of this century have to have great emotional intelligence in order to be successful. Old leadership methods do not work anymore especially with the generation Z and the millennials.

When you think about work and there is a boss who understands your reaction and can reconcile why you did certain things, you will work harder for him. It is a win - win. You learn from him and he receives more effort from you :)
