Words over time had proven to be even more powerful and dangerous than Ak47 rifle. It is wise for anything that is that dangerous to be controlled so it won't be used to cause harm.

Words used between people Sometime constitute ground for litigation. When you hear word like defamation, libel and slander, you should know that word as been used to cause injury to someone. At it worse, you hear word like incitement. And when you hear that word incitement, it has acquire the status of being a noun, capable of causing harm.

It is as a result of this, that censorship becomes a necessary evil. Yeah! an evil. The cyberspace is a space filled with different information and it has become easy for anyone to air his view on any topic, or pass information to the public about some fact or knowledge. But then, information is power, and words are weapons that can be used for good or bad.

To curtail the dissemination of the information that will be harmful and dangerous into the air, make censorship a necessity. Yes! Not everything you think should be shared to people. And if you make attempt to share it, some part will be deleted. But then, what barometer will be used to determine whether a message should be censored or not, is another thing that can be hijacked by evil people to cause harm. What about the Persons censoring it? Can he be reliable? Is the government reliable enough to be given the responsibility to control one's thought and the things to be aired?

these above questions, makes censorship an evil. Is censorship not a way to only push the narrative of the government in power? Or is it not another way of saying any opinion that do not tally with what the government or person want to hear should be removed?. These and many more questions, scared the people of the the idea of censorship.

When there is two evil, you choose the lesser evil. Censor is removing the part of a message that is not needed in. Who and why is the removing, is the problem with censorship.
