Tom is a blubber-ash, ash-blue or ash pet cat (his wool color is similar to the Russian Blue species of cats), and Jerry is a brown-brown rat whose house is near Tom's thumb. In the late 1930s, Rudolf's ising M. G. Part of M Animation Studio was the story writer and character designer William Hanna and veteran director Joseph Barbera, who shared the picture together.
