Democracy as a form of government in Nigeria is not a bad idea, the problem is that the country is divided across many lines.
Due to this, religious affiliation and ethnic bigotry continues to undermine whatever stride democracy attempts to make.
Allowing each state to fully manage itself and report to a central government like we once had could yield better result.
