Located in Santa Lucia, in the city of Maracaibo, the building "La India" has a Colonial architecture style, is dated from the XVII century. There are some other buildings with the same style in the area, some of them have kept their shape over time and some other have been restored. This building hasn't have the same luck as some of its neighbors; it is abounded and and without any plans of restorations from the government, it's very unlikely that it's going to be restored anytime soon.

I do not know the history of this building in particular, but I supposed it was a family home, because it is a recidencial area and there are other homes around. Even though it is abandoned, the building has some kind of charm, its beautiful facade, the design of the flowery ornament, even the deterioration of the paint and the corroded wall.
